The position will support all locations’ accounts payables. The Accounts Payable Clerk will be responsible for monitoring the outflow of capital for the company.
POSITION REPORTS TO OFFICE MANAGER.
Responsibilities
• Post business transactions, process invoices, verify financial data for use in maintaining accounts payable records.
• Maintain meticulous records of outstanding payables.
• Clarify any questionable invoice items, prices or receiving signatures.
• Maintain copies of PO’s, invoices or correspondence necessary for files.
• Post checks and send reports to corporate.
• Facilitates payment of vendors, which may include verification of federal ID numbers, reviewing purchase orders, and resolving discrepancies and mails payments.
• Other related duties as assigned.

• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-directed and able to work without supervision.
• Energetic and eager to tackle new projects and ideas.
• Must be dependable and extremely trustworthy.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related programs.
• Must be able to learn other accounting software systems.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to maintain confidential and meticulous records.
• High school diploma required; Business or Accounting degree preferred.
Physical: Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer the entire workday. Must have the ability to lift 20 pounds frequently and up to 25 pounds occasionally.
