Meet the Team Behind Keys Lumber
Forest Tek Lumber | Overseas Lumber Supply | Keys Mercantile
Jennifer Morgan
My name is Jennifer Morgan (AKA Jenn) and I work for Overseas and Forest Tek Lumber in the exceptional Florida Keys. I am currently reaching out to new partners who value quality, efficiency, and a proactive supply partner. I’d love to understand your upcoming projects and how I can support your success.
With over 25 years in the building material supply industry, I’ve built a career on strong customer relationships, in-depth product knowledge, and a commitment to helping customers find the right solutions for their projects.
I specialize in supporting historical renovation projects with quality materials, deep product knowledge, and a strong understanding of the unique challenges that come with restoring older structures. As well as a thorough understanding of new residential and commercial construction, specializing in windows and doors.
I believe in a hands-on, solution-orientated approach, and I pride myself on being a reliable partner you can count on for consistent communication and results.
When I’m not selling building materials, I enjoy running, going to concerts and spending time with my family in Miami.
I look forward to working with you!
Jenn Morgan
Jesus Ornelas
Hello, my name is Jesus Ornelas most people know me as Lalo which is my nickname.
The quote I would use for my business philosophy is “Don’t wait for the opportunity. Create it.”
As an outside sales rep for Forest Tek Lumber, Overseas Lumber and Keys Mercantile. Customer service is Key. If i say we’re going to do something, I try to always keep my word and make it happen. Even if that involves making deliveries. Sourcing out product we do not carry. Going to the job site to measure. Looking over plans to do takeoff’s on windows and doors and interior doors, Making sure our customers feel confident and insured with all the product we have to sell to them. It seems to me that the little favors we do for our customers, meaning dropping off a couple pieces of Lumber or any type of building supplies to keep the job running goes a long. We want to ensure that our customers feel that we are a part of their team and are here to service their job.
So they can have a successful business. That is the service I like to give to the customers I deal with on a day-to-day bases.
Things I like to do outside of work:
I really enjoy golfing, even though my handicap is not the greatest. Going to the beach like south beach, I love food, And spending time with family and friends!
Anibal Roldan
Hello. My name is Anibal Roldan. I am Cuban. I came to this country in the nineties. When I arrived, I studied a little bit and worked a lot. I did a little bit of everything. I have had many different jobs until I got my CDL license and I started working here at Overseas Lumber as a driver. I have been with the company for over 10 years now. Thanks to this amazing team, both coworkers and managers, they made working here easy, hard, and challenging. Here we are and we are doing well. I hope to be here many more years. It has been an honor and pleasure to meet so many wonderful people, both professionally and socially during these ten years and I hope to be able to continue serving this company and this amazing community for as long as I can. Thank you very much!
Pauline
What started out as a part-time job, ended up full-time and 28 years later. I love the customers, hearing about their projects and assisting them with getting the right stuff for the job. I feel many people come to our store for the expertise that we can give them. My favorite thing to do outside of work is to be with family and spend time in my yard. I always let the new team members know that it may seem overwhelming at first, but with patience you will learn everything.
Boone Houston
What’s your role, and how long have you been with us?
I’ve been with ForestTek for 10 years working both as an inside/outside sales representative, specializing in window and door sales and installation.
What do you enjoy most about your job?
What I love most about my job are the customers and the small-town bond that’s been created here. Many customers become friends, and it’s incredibly rewarding to watch projects come to fruition from the ground up and see people’s dreams come to life.
What’s a fun fact about you most people don’t know?
Fun fact about me that most people don’t know is that my real name isn’t Boone, it’s Randall. I’m from Highlands, North Carolina, but most people think I’m from Boone because of my name. My name actually comes from a 1960s Western actor, Randy Boone, and my family started calling me Boone when I was four years old.
How do you like to spend your time outside of work?
Outside of work, my favorite thing to do is spend time with my family. Life has looked a little different for me and my wife, Michele, over the last two years. We now have three grandsons who are two years old, all just three months apart, which has been an incredible blessing. I also enjoy working on projects around the house and am always planning the next upgrade or improvement.
What’s one piece of advice you’d give to a new team member?
Advice I’d give to a new team member: learn your product, build relationships, take pride in your work, and don’t be intimidated to ask questions if you don’t know something.
